The photos feature Rihanna in a fuzzy lime green — referred to as “kelly green” on the Savage x Fenty website — two-piece set consisting of the Fluff It Up triangle bralette accented by a rose-gold script nameplate that reads “savage x,” and matching high-waisted pajama pants. Both pieces are also available in a navy blue colorway. The bralette retails for $32.95 while the pants are $64.95 without the website’s Xtra VIP Membership offer. Sleepwear isn’t the only thing that Rihanna is offering her fans as of late. On Nov. 4, the singer announced a special limited-edition “rih-issue” of all eight of her albums (from 2005’s Music of the Sun to 2016’s Anti) on vinyl that featured unique colors and exclusive apparel and merchandise with the boxed sets. Rihanna has yet to share concrete plans for a ninth album, but has repeatedly promised fans that it is on the way. “You’re not going to expect what you hear. Each item is made of a mohair-style sweater knit. If you're feeling extra Grinch-y, the site also includes a matching robe and catsuit too. Rihanna didn't just make one post showing off the outfit, though. The 33-year-old also shared a behind-the-scenes video, where her followers got a glimpse at the shooting process for the Christmas-themed photos. In the caption, she simply said, “……@savagexfenty.” It seems that Rihanna has really been getting into the holiday spirit these past couple of months. At the end of October, the singer modeled a purple lingerie set while standing around giant chandeliers. In her caption she said, “Holiday szn bout to be Xtra af #TisTheSavage.” We all know Rihanna for her personal aesthetic in dramatic, bold and daring ensembles that mostly become regarded as legendary fashion moments. For example, her 2014 Swarovski-crystal dress, her 2015 Met Gala yellow billowing Guo Pei dress and her plethora of streetwear getups are true markers of her cutting-edge eye when it comes to clothing. She continues to make us question, “How does she do it?” while also being reassured that only she can pull off such fashion-forward moments.
