Romeo Beckham is the second child of David Beckham and Victoria Beckham. Romeo Beckham was born in 2002. Like his father, Romeo Beckham is active in sports. On the other hand, Romeo Beckham is a famous person in the fashion industry like his mother.
DAVID BECKHAM and wife Victoria sent their heartfelt congratulations to their 19-year-old son Romeo, after his big sponsorship news was confirmed.
David Beckham, 46, and his wife of 22 years Victoria, 47, spoke out about how proud they are of their middle son Romeo, 19, who had some big news to share on Thursday. The teen looks to be following his fathers famous sporting shoes even more so, as she signed a new sponsorship deal with sports brand Puma.
Romeo, second eldest son of ex-Man United and England superstar David, 46, and Victoria, 47, splits his time between the US where he plays football and UK where the family is based.
His brother, Brooklyn, 22, also lives in the States with his fiancée, model Nicola Peltz, and earlier this month launched an online cooking show.
Meanwhile, Cruz, 16, and Harper, ten, are still in school.
The teenager had already followed in dad David’s footsteps by becoming a professional footballer — and has now mirrored his commercial success off the pitch.
His debut as the newest face of the clothing company comes as he prepares for his second season as a professional footballer with Fort Lauderdale CF.
Romeo is set to wear Puma's Future Z 1.2 football boots next season, which are also worn by PSG's Neymar.
ROMEO Beckham is a chip off the old block by landing a £1.2million contract to become the new face of Puma.
After Puma posted the campaign on their social media channels where the youngster talks about what football means to him, both David and Victoria shared it to their own retrospective Instagram accounts to congratulate their boy.
Insiders said the big-money deal with the sportswear giant was the first in a line of lucrative collaborations being lined up for him in the next few years.
A source said: “Romeo was paid £1.2million for his deal to become the new global face of Puma.
“He’s the richest of the Beckham brood now and like his father is on a fast track to super stardom.
“Romeo is really hard-working and, as well as pushing for success on the pitch playing for Fort Lauderdale CF, the reserve team of David’s Inter Miami club, he is also carving out a name for himself among advertisers.
“The deal with Puma will hopefully become a long-standing collaboration.
“Designer brand Yves Saint Laurent have shown a real interest in Romeo after he worked with them in the summer and it's likely they’ll try and snare him for another campaign.
“The future is very bright for Romeo and it won’t be long until he’s banking another million.”
The fashion designer added her own loving message: "Proud of you Romeo."
Of his partnership with the brand, Romeo said: "The Future Z boots match my game perfectly.
"They're light so that I can use my pace and agility, but they also grip the ball amazingly so I can dribble and pass effectively.
"I love the colours of the Under the Lights pack, which combine my passions of fashion and football."
On Neymar, he added: "Neymar is amazing and I love to watch him play, he messaged me when he saw me wearing Puma, this made my day."
While Romeo is taking his sporting career to the next level, Victoria was also trying her hand at keeping up with the men in her family.
The model has always had an enviable figure, but she recently revealed she was trying to "keep up" with her hubby while she trained in the gym.
Following her admission, David couldn't help but take a cheeky swipe at his beloved.
Taking to Instagram, he playfully mocked Victoria for her exercise routine, showing her in a compromising position.
He shared a snap with his 69.8million followers, of the former Spice Girl lifting a barbell above her head while squatting.
The photo was originally posted on her own account, with the caption: "Trying to keep up with David in the gym."
But his re-post read: "Did you manage to move from this position? @victoriabeckham."
“Just like David worked with adidas for over 20 years, it is likely Romeo will do the same with Puma.
“He is young and perfect for their target demographic so to Puma he was worth every penny.
“This is just the first of big commercial deals off the pitch for Romeo in his new career as a pro footballer.
Romeo signed for Fort Lauderdale CF in September and has played for the club on a number of occasions.
He made his name in the fashion industry and in 2011 he was named Britain’s 26th best dressed man — aged just eight.
Two years later, he signed his first big deal with Burberry and went on to star in a number of the British brand’s campaigns.
He has also modelled for Canada Goose clothing and in January was the cover model of L’Uomo Vogue for the first time.
