Ben Affleck’s children are probably pretty used to meeting famous people by now, but the actor revealed that there’s still one A-lister who left them totally starstruck.

Despite having a famous father, Ben Affleck's kids still get starstruck by their favorite celebrities.

On Monday's episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the 49-year-old recalls the moment he took his two daughters to meet Taylor Swift, sharing that they were so starstruck they could barely speak.

The Argo star and Clarkson, 39, both recounted times when their kids met one of their idols and could hardly form words as they were so starstruck.

"My kids, like loudest kids on the planet, will not speak," Clarkson says, referencing a time when she brought her son to meet Aquaman's Jason Momoa.

Affleck told a story on Monday’s episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show about taking his two daughters, 16-year-old Violet and 12-year-old Seraphina, to meet Taylor Swift, an experience that apparently left both of them too stunned to speak. Clarkson said that when her son met Aquaman, also known as Jason Mamoa, suddenly, “My kids—like loudest kids on the planet—will not speak.” Affleck replied, “They clam up!” He added, getting animated, “I took my daughters to meet Taylor Swift and I was like, ‘We came all the way here, it’s Taylor Swift, say something!’” Instead, his kids just starred blankly at the pop star. Clarkson joked, “You look like a liar, you’re like ‘I swear they know your songs!’” Affleck said, “Yeah! ‘I’m telling you they’re fans. They know who you are.’”

The Tender Bar star also previously confessed he’s a big fan of the singer, even though he flubbed naming three of her songs under pressure on The Ellen Show in 2017. “Come on! She’s amazing,” he said. “I love Taylor Swift. I’m blanking.” He revealed that thanks to his daughters he’s also been to a ton of her concerts, adding, “Taylor Swift is great, by the way, she’s a great role model.”

Affleck, who shares his two daughters and 9-year-old son Samuel with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, also expressed how important his family is to him during an interview on Good Morning America last month. “My life is better and I am happier the more I am around my kids,” he said. “We all want to pass on the best of ourselves to our children. I don’t care who you are, I’m quite sure you feel at some point in your life you’ve taken missteps, nobody wants to transfer that to our children and that is a real task that everybody faces, whatever those issues are.”

"I don't care who you are, I'm quite sure you feel at some point in your life you've taken missteps, nobody wants to transfer that to our children and that is a real task that everybody faces, whatever those issues are."

Affleck spoke kindly of Swift in 2017 during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, saying, “Taylor Swift is great, by the way. She’s a great role model.” Later in the program, the actor was tasked with naming three Taylor Swift songs in under five seconds during a game of Five Second Rule but fumbled. “‘1989,’ ‘I Still Love You,’ the John Mayer thing … come on! She’s amazing,” Affleck replied. “I love Taylor Swift. I’m blanking.”

It's no secret that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are head over in heels in love after reuniting last year. Though they each have their own families, these lovebirds still managed to spend quality time together over the holidays.

According to a new report from People, Affleck spent Christmas Eve with his three children, Violet, Seraphine, and Samuel, before they left for a vacation with their mom, Jennifer Garner, on Christmas day. Lopez and Affleck then brought their families together on Christmas, celebrating with Lopez's twins, Max and Emme, as well as Affleck's mom.

“It was a pretty quiet holiday for them," an insider told People. "They really enjoyed it after a busy fall."

This is far from the first time Affleck and Lopez have brought their families together for special occasions. The happy couple have been spotted on special outings with all their kids multiple times in recent months. Back in August, a source close to the pair spoke to E! Online about Lopez's desire to become close to Affleck's children. "Jennifer has made a big effort to get to know Ben's kids and welcome them into her home and her life," the insider revealed at the time. "They have spent a lot of time getting to know each other and letting the kids have fun and bond."

Affleck recently opened up to WSC about his role as a parent, emphasizing how he teaches his children to prioritize good values. "The most important thing to me is to be a good father," he said. "Boys need to be taught. How to behave, how to conduct yourself. What your values should be. The ways my father did that for me are really meaningful."
