Apart from thanking his staff, wife and kids, he dressed in a Liverpool Football Club hoodie (his favorite soccer club in England) and made jokes like "none of us are technically gifted" and compared himself as "piloting a plane with the captain passed out".
He also revealed that his wife has been doing his makeup during these times that the show was aired from his home due to restrictions and ended up with all the other nominees clapping from their homes and smiling.
